Encouragement from former CA,Participant&Facilitator.

As you continue through ESOAL remember where your strength comes from. This experience will change your life in a great way & will draw you closer to God. Be encouraged & prayers going your way!

Psalm 18:32
"It is God who arms me with strength&makes my way perfect"

Hey Esoal participants. I encourage you to meditate on the Lord and His word during this time. I am an alumni and am in college. Trials are going to come your way during the HA and after. The question is how will you respond. Right now in Esoal- you have the opportunity to learn to lean on the Lord and HIS strength. Esoal was one of the hardest but best things I've ever done. Thinking of all of you reminds me of all I learned when I went through it (twice actually). Whatever happens- do not give up. Set your heart on things above not on things of this world. Remember the truth of His word. Let His hands mold you and shape you this weekend. Love God and love each other during this time. Make the most of every moment and give it your 100%, even if your 100% may feel like 2% because you are so tired. If you can give it your all here, you can give it your all when trials come your way later. I'm watching the updates and praying for all of you! Katie Johnson (an alumni) (don't know her number)- I'm so proud of you beloved one! He is ours and we are his. I love you!. - Desiree Richards

Rhett,

Just watching posts, praying, not worrying, but trusting God for you. It's been 24 hours now. Stay strong in the Lord and the power of His might. And remember, a broken spirit and a contrite heart - these God does not despise.

Much love,
Mom

For Tony Klazar...
We are praying for you fervently. John 14:1 – Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God.

This trial will test you to see if your faith is in God or yourself. And when you choose to trust God and remain strong through this test of your faith in God then you will bring real Praise to Him and you will see Him in a new way.

1 Peter 1:6-9 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy.

Let Him bring you joy through the pain. We love you and are praying for you!

"And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us." Beth Crabtree (Sunshine) we love you! So glad we can post to you. We are proud of you for going ahead with this. It must be getting difficult for all of you. Know that you are all continuously on our minds and just as much in our prayers.

Get the victory dear daughter! Like Jacob of old who persevered in his struggle with God, he refused to let go of the divine being until he received his blessing. Expect God to grant his blessing as you persevere.

All of us back home are fasting and praying for you, but don’t ever worry about disappointing us because you are already beyond that. No matter what happens you are highly esteemed and deeply loved.

When you feel you can’t keep going, rely on HIS strength, for when you are weak HE is strong!!! He will never leave nor forsake you, you are HIS beloved daughter!!

Christ said “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, boast all the more gladly about your weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on you. That is why, for Christ’s sake, delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when you are weak, HE is strong!!! (paraphrased) 2 Cor.12:9

You are the best!
We love you!! Mom & Bruce

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Hebrews 12:1-3 Keep your eyes on Jesus interns.

Jeremiah Elliott,
In Galatians 6:9 the Apostle Paul encourages us to keep on keeping on. God is looking for those who will go all the way through with Him. You can go all the way through!!! "And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you." Isaiah 43:2
Whatever any intern is facing or experiencing right now today, I am encouraging you to go through it and not give up. God has given you whatever you need to do whatever you need to do today through Christ. Encourage those around you Jeremiah. We love you and are praying for you! Love Mom

Daughter of the Most High; your perseverance is inspiring. Keep praying for your company. I am praying for you. As you let go of past regrets and hurts, let Jesus fill those empty spaces with HIS love!
Psalm 59:16 says: But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Put your trust in HIM; for He will never leave or forsake you.
I love you.
