Spence,

As your mother I can't stand watching you go through this trial but as a sister in Christ I am so excited at what the Lord will show you through this. There is nothing that can separate you from His love or mine. You are more than a conqueror through Him. We don't get through this life doing it all perfect and as maturing Christians, we realize that anything we do that is worthy is only because of God's love and strength in us. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. God knew before you were born what would happen during this challenge and the outcome of it and He said it is good. You have chosen to seek Him and nothing else matters. I am shouting the victory with you no matter what the outcome of this challenge. You have already won because He lives in you. Congratulations son. I couldn't be more proud!

Always in my heart and prayers,
Mama

Spencer,

I watched your video post. I know what you are going through must be a tremendous challenge. I know you can do it, though. You will make it through this. Let Holy Spirit give you the strength you need. He will teach you so much through all of this. I know that you know when it is all over you will look back to see the lessons in all of it. Pray for your buddy, Austin, as he faces many of the same challenges and concerns. I will let him know to keep you in his prayers too.

I love you and will look forward to all your stories when this is done.

Ms. Denise

Spencer,

I am extremely proud of you! As your earthly father it is hard to watch your posting and not be able to encourage you face to face, but that is the way life is now. You are in the world but not of it. You will be tested again and again, and I will not be right by your side. One much greater than I has taken my place. With Him there is no shadow in His turning, there is no fault in His ways, and He is truly closer than a brother. He has done for you what I could never do, He purchased you from the beginning of time, and He has plans for your future. You have made the right choice. You are a man of God.

Love,
Daddy

Spencer... read 2 Chronicles beginning with chapter 20...on the 4th day they gathered in the valley of blessings, which got its name that day because the people praised and thanked the LORD there, It is still call the Valley of Blessings today. Sometimes life can be so hard. Our first inclination when tough times arise is to say, "what if". What if I get too tired, what if the road gets too hard. What if I have moments of weaknesses? The LORD tells us to take captive these thoughts and make them obedient to Christ. In Philippians 4: 6,7 (read) Paul goes on to say we should replace the what ifs with the whatevers! (Read Philippians 4:8,9,) Could we use peace in the midst of the storm? I know it may be contrary to everything raging within you, but praise Him in the storm (or sand & mud). Beloved, your enemy has no idea what to do with that! And what if the world around you falls apart or you have a moment you want to ring the bell? When you are found in Christ, it will be alright- you will be found standing on solid ground!!! I am praying!! Mrs.C

These last few days I have watched you in the videos crucifying your flesh for the greater goal. I am seeing, not a boy, but a man emerge. A man going beyond his own strength to grab ahold of what God has for him.
You are almost to the part of the scripture I shared with you before this started. "...but those that wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not be faint."
Well done man of God. I am humbled by your perseverance and determination.

Always in my heart and prayers,
Mama

(Spencer this is from Mrs. Woodring)
Tried to leave a blog but I think my cybersitter is messing with my computer. So I will just write you a note to tell you how much I enjoyed Spencer the other day. I was so proud of him. He seems to have grown up so much. He is the funniest person I know. and he is greatly loved. We are praying for him. No matter how this time ends up for him, we are so proud of him!
For Spencer: "Hear my cry O God, give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to thee, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I." Ps. 61:1-2

Buddy,

I miss you soooo much and I`m proud to call you my brother. Where ever I go I only talk about you and ask people to pray for you. From now on I will have people call me 454`s Little- Sister.
Here is my scripture;

Psalm 27:1,
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid.

I hope to see you soon, and I`m praying so hard for you.

Love ya`,
454`s Little Sister

Spencer,

Hey little brother....I love you more than you know and I am praying for you to feel as strong as we all know you are. The relationship you have with the lord is awe inspiring. The fact that you entered a program knowing your flesh would be tested beyond all the limits it contains, to have to depend only on the strength of your soul and the closeness you have to God shows me that deep inside you know how unbelievably stong your faith in God truly makes you. John 16:33 "I told you these things so that you can have peace in me. In this world you will have trouble, but be brave! I have defeated the world." Lean on him....depend on him to hold you up when you can no longer stand, because he is there with you through the sand and the mud....and through any and everything you will ever face. Remember to take hold of the only one to ever defeat this world and with his guidence and your faith in his power, you will make it. I am so proud to be your sister and I always have been. I love you Spinker.
